BUSINESS ISSUES AND OBJECTIVES

Being a multinational infrastructure company. Afcons projects are operational in the multi-country multi locations. As a Mammoth infrastructure company, there are 100s of instruments are installed and functional to provide key information related to projects.

The objective is to collect the specific data from instruments and process that data into desired reports and make it available for central teams to take the key decisions on a managerial level.

The Key challenges are to collect the data from machines requires technical manpower and the manual processing of these huge data sets is a tedious job which requires lots of time and effort due to which the management-level team is not able to take an immediate decision which causes a delay in the project and financial losses.

1. To collect precise Data input from Machines Manually takes time & Technical Skills which cause additional high skill man power and time delay and chance of human error.
2. To process the data on excel again its tedious job because data set is huge so human error is obvious

SOLUTIONS

At kazma we have analyzed the Afcons challenges by sitting with different level of afcons team and understood it well then we have come up with the solutions.

1. We have designed very user-friendly Mobile app for field level Engineers to capture the machine data where the user just need to select the location and he will get instrument mapping and inputs required where he can easily upload the data.
2. We have given training materials and instruction in-app in case any new user want to do the task its very self-explanatory.
3. We centralized the App input data on Secure cloud  and create the multi-level access for afcons Employees where according to the access provided to them they can work on application.
4. We made it complex report creation process super easy where creating the desired report is just a single click effort.
5. As its the complex report we kept a room to review and reconciliation by the expert incase required
6. System is merging all reports and creating consolidated reports for higher management for weekly monthly annually review.

OUTCOMES

Post implementation of Afcons System, there were visible improvements at Report Management & Data Analysis. Cycle of report creation slashed by 25 days to 1 week where Man Power cost come down to 25% for the current process. Reports generation is no more hectic job for the team and Afcons management team can check the reports any point time across the globe which is helping in making the decision and saving time n cost.
