CHALLENGES:

HUL being the India’s leading FMCG Distribution company in India, the company operates at a very big scale when it comes to data transfer and reporting at every level, although they have the world best ERP integrated to automate the systems and process at macro level but when it comes to micro level data management still there is on going need of process automation, so that key issue which HUL sales department was facing at different hierarchical level starting from Regional Manager to people who are working on the ground, the data feeds to reach the RM took more than twenty four hours which was creating a delay in critical decision making .
So idea was to create a real time data feed at any given instant of time data at each level should comes to each hierarchy based on the team activity that is happening at ground level, collating each team data and real time reports was needed to each managers in the end RM sitting at highest level can see the company over all report in real time.

SOLUTIONS:

An intuitive sales tracking and reporting tool for the frontline sales team, integrated with backend MIS, team tracking and escalation matrix surfaced as the need of the hour for the HUL Kolkata division. Creating and tracking continuous report on sales target, visits and update on leads and subsequent reporting via team hierarchy with a cross-platform solution connecting.

OUTCOMES:

An intuitive sales tracking and reporting tool for the frontline sales team, integrated with backend MIS, team tracking and escalation matrix surfaced as the need of the hour for the HUL Kolkata division. Creating and tracking continuous report on sales target, visits and update on leads and subsequent reporting via team hierarchy with a cross-platform solution connecting teams to their customers and management; became the outline for Kazma Technology, upon which the HUL sales tool was being developed.

HUL, being an MNC, posed its own demanding schedule and quality parameters. The scope of customization, future development and integration of reports to other MIS’s provided a unique opportunity for us; which we like to believe was fully catered to. HUL still remains on of our premium clients and the ‘White Label’ sales application; a predominant tool still being used by rst level sales force to communicate and relay information across multiple management levels.
